Perched on a hill overlooking the picturesque forest that gives it its name, this cottage maximizes the sweeping views to the south while providing more intimate glimpses to the beaver pond to the north. The structure is nestled into the landscape, making use of the natural contours of the land to create different zones. Low and linear, it makes use of local materials, some directly from the site, to blend into the surrounding landscape.
